The rape victim and her family
are being extremely pressured by the suspect's camp to drop the case.
Her mother, aunt and their lawyers have been 'persuaded to agree'. She
had been advised by her close relatives not to give up. She was
asked to seek Fiscal Reddy Ridao's legal opinion. Please ask her
not to give up the fight. People in the City of Urdaneta and other
communities should demand that the Fiscal's Office should not let this
case go unheard. The assailant deserves to be put in jail
for a long time.
